How long do your products stay fresh?

Typically, bread tends to be good for 2-3 days. Breads tend to become dryer around day 3 or 4. Keeping loaves in a beeswax bread bag, or in a airtight container will keep them a little longer. Muffins, bagels, cookies, and cakes will be good for about 7 days.

Do you offer seasonal or specialty flavors?

Both seasonal and specialty flavors are offered.

Seasonal and specialty flavors will be posted weekly for order.

Custom orders of specialty flavors are available upon request.

Are you a licensed home bakery?

No. However, I follow clean and safe protocols.

(Michigan Cottage Food Law Online Course to be taken by the end of the year!)

Do you offer Gluten Free products?

Yes

How far in advance should I order?

I prefer a 7 day window, however 24 hours for most items is enough time.

How do I know that my order is confirmed?

I will send an email with an invoice. I will request a signature of approval, so that your order is just as you like!

How do I receive my products?

I usually request to meet in public parking lots like Meijer, or Dollar General. If the order is within 10 miles, I will deliver. I will also overnight ship for a fee.

What types of payments do you accept?

You can pay through the Square link on the website, or cash for small local orders.

Are the product images actually pictures of the food you create?

No. However, I will be adding a photo gallery of my actual creations as I make them!

Michigan's Cottage Food Law

Michigan's Cottage Food Law allows you to prepare and sell non-potentially hazardous, shelf stable foods directly to consumers from your primary residence's home kitchen without a license or inspection. The official guidelines and updates are reviewed through the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD).

Michigan State University offers a Michigan Cottage Food Law Online Course which I plan to take soon to keep customers safe and happy!

A Few Friendly Policies

  • Orders are baked fresh and made to order
  • Orders close at 4 P.M. the day before baking
  • Payment is due at the time of the ordering
  • Please notify me of any food allergies before ordering
  • Because products are made fresh, cancellations made less than 24 hours before pick-up may not be refundable
  • Due to changing temperatures throughout the year, you may notice that as you receive orders, they make look different than the last time you ordered. Butter is the primary ingredient that can cause these changes. Softer butter can create flatter cookies, where colder butter can create fluffier cookies. I DO NOT use ingredients like artificial shortenings that tends to keep consistency throughout varying temperatures.
